If you were stranded on a deserted island...

Memoirs from my stay on the Island of Carooga

Day One
Have been washed ashore on an island with nothing but my purse, a year's supply of feminine products, and a large blanket. I was able to salvage a banana picker and a Cabana Boy from the wreckage of the cruise ship. Driftwood keeps knocking at my feet, so I suppose I should finally drag myself out of the ocean and build something useful.

Day Two
Cabana Boy helped me build a Banana-ade Stand with a built in Orange-Juice Maker Counter. Now all we have to do is find the fruit.

Day Five
It's not really "Day Five" but it felt appropriate to write. If I had written "Day Three" or "Day Four" then I would not have looked that busy. Still haven't found any fruit. Tired of sharing blanket with Cabana Boy

Day Four
Cabana Boy refuses to tell me his real name. So I lied and told him that I was Princess Zeraldine and ordered him to tell me. He bowed and scraped and told me to call him a servant. I think I preferred Cabana Boy.

Day Five part Two
I spotted some monkeys today. They were pointing and laughing. When I approached to sell them a share of the profits of the Banana-Ade Stand if they showed me where the bananas were, they hooted and ran off.

Day Seven
Am lost in the jungle. I went out looking for the monkeys. Cabana Boy wanted to stay on the beach and protect the stand. He feels more comfortable under palm branches that have already been severed from the tree than those that are still growing, I think.

Night Seven
Have found monkey hide out. They have a large Cocktail Lounge and Attractions in the Back. Am highly jealous. But then, who would not be jealous of a sucsessful Night Club with its own Vegetarian Volcano God and Volcano.

Day Ten
Scoped out the area and have found out that every Saturday night the local Gorilla Glen and Grill has it's own Monsoon. Gorilla Glen and Grill is really an offshoot of the Monkey Cocktail Lounge: its forefather in fact. Blasted monkeys, stealing all the business!

Day Eleven
Returned to the beach and am sadly dissapointed. Cabana Boy did not pick up any sales. He did manage to find a penguin Mariachi band which plays the Austen Powers theme song.

Day Twelve
Have made first contact with Cabana Monkey. May be able to become a waitress.

Day Fifteen
Am now very popular among the female monkies. Thank God for feminine supplies.

Day Twenty
Cabana Boy, Mariachi Penguins and I have now been hired by the Cocktail Lounge. Thank God for the banana picker!

"'Why, you have nearly finished it, Mr. Frodo!' Sam exclaimed. ... 'I have quite finished, Sam,' said Frodo. 'The last pages are for you.'"
