Longer Days
28 February, 2005 : 12:48 p.m.

At work, Michael accuratly said, "There aren't enough hours in the day."

Last night on the phone, Lizzie and I commiserated that we never have enough time to do everything.

And then today, in the Foxtrot comic the issue is addressed again. The Jason walks up to his mom and asks, "Who do I complain to if I want longer school days?"
Mom replies, "You could try writing the school board."
Jason leaves the room and then comes back with a stack of letters reaching the ceiling. He asks, "Who do I complain to about the cost of postage?"

I'd like good answers to both of those questions. I'd also like to be able to write something meaningful in this diary but I really have nothing of great import to relate. Only that fortune cookies are funny, even though I'm not wild over their taste, and I'd like to have a place for nap time inbetween classes.

"'Why, you have nearly finished it, Mr. Frodo!' Sam exclaimed. ... 'I have quite finished, Sam,' said Frodo. 'The last pages are for you.'"
