Night swimming...but where's the water?

Say, that's refreshing--I really must be Frodo!

I would destroy the Ring.

And I was totally guessing on this one, but surprisingly enough...

Yoda
Passed the tests, you have. Become a Jedi Knight,
you shall.

Is the Force With You!!?

I basically finished the under dress for my medieval gown. It's very comfy. Just needs grommets to lace up the back.

Mom and I watched Nicholas Nickleby tonight. It was a great movie. The whole time I was trying to place where I knew Smike from and then realized: It's Jamie Bell from Billy Elliott!! Holy molten lava, Batman! Yet another wonderful film. *sighs*

Tomorrow the Demarcos are supposed to come over. Thank the good Lord I work from 2-6 (anyone who reads this, come in and visit me *does puppy dog pout*) and don't have to be there to visit. Even as a kid that family made me queasy. I dunno.

Next week I'm working Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Hopefully I'll be able to stop into band camp on Tues., but that all depends.

Jill I'm taking down your template. If you want the one for your olders page just email me. :)

*sighs* I'm getting looks from the parental units, so I suppose I should go off to bed. Not off to sleep, mind you. My brain is far too annoyingly awake to do anything sensible like going to sleep before 2 A.M. But I suppose I should try.

Good night!

Doing: Sighing after Jamie Bell; reading
What made my day: Eucharistic Adoration; sewing; Emily coming home; the household emotions running at an even tempature
What bothered my day: Back aches from bending over seams that needed to be ripped out
Lyrics of the day:Nightswimming

Nightswimming deserves a quiet night.
The photograph on the dashboard, taken years ago,
turned around backwards so the windshield shows.
Every streetlight reveals the picture in reverse.
Still, it's so much clearer.
I forgot my shirt at the water's edge.
The moon is low tonight.

Nightswimming deserves a quiet night.
I'm not sure all these people understand.
It's not like years ago,
The fear of getting caught,
of recklessness and water.
They cannot see me naked.
These things, they go away,
replaced by everyday.

Nightswimming, remembering that night.
September's coming soon.
I'm pining for the moon.
And what if there were two
Side by side in orbit
Around the fairest sun?
That bright, tight forever drum
could not describe nightswimming.

You, I thought I knew you.
You I cannot judge.
You, I thought you knew me,
this one laughing quietly underneath my breath.
Nightswimming.

The photograph reflects,
every streetlight a reminder.
Nightswimming deserves a quiet night,
deserves a quiet night.

"'Why, you have nearly finished it, Mr. Frodo!' Sam exclaimed. ... 'I have quite finished, Sam,' said Frodo. 'The last pages are for you.'"
